Engagement and Impact Manager

Overview: The Engagement and Impact Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of GOALS by overseeing all aspects of marketing and communications. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position requires a dynamic and creative leader capable of managing a diverse range of responsibilities to ensure the organization’s message is effectively communicated to all stakeholders and its brand presence is significantly enhanced.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications and Marketing Management:

  • Develop, Manage, and Execute Comprehensive Communication Strategy: Create and implement a robust marketing and communication plan that includes social media, newsletters, website content, and other digital marketing efforts to elevate brand awareness.

  • Content Creation: Craft engaging and impactful content that tells the GOALS story, highlights achievements, addresses challenges, and showcases the impact of our work.

  • Donor Relations and Management: Develop and implement a strategic donor communications plan to foster strong relationships with current and prospective donors. Manage the CRM system to ensure effective tracking and engagement of donors.

  • Social Media Management: Oversee all social media channels, creating and curating content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement. Develop strategies to increase followers and interaction on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

  • Website Management: Ensure the GOALS website is up-to-date, user-friendly, and effectively communicates our mission, programs, and impact. Regularly update content and work on SEO to increase site traffic.

  • Media Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries. Build and maintain relationships with press and media outlets to secure coverage that promotes GOALS’ mission and achievements.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all communications align with GOALS’ brand and mission, maintaining a consistent voice and message across all platforms.

  • Reporting and Analytics: Collect and analyze data from various communication channels to measure the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns. Prepare regular reports on marketing and communication performance for internal and external stakeholders.

    • Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of programs.

    • Collect and analyze data to inform strategic decisions and improve program outcomes.

    • Prepare regular reports on program performance for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, and donor management.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Armenian native, English is a must, Russian is also preferred).

  • Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, CRM systems, and website management.

  • Passion for empowering young women through sports and education.

  • Video making and editing tools is a plus. 

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of content creation, storytelling, digital marketing, and social media, with a goal of increasing brand awareness and developing effective communication strategies for a wide range of stakeholders, especially for donor relations.
